FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is FOUND Free or Paid?

After you register an account with FOUND, you are more than welcome to watch our found footage catalogue at no cost to you (our free tier has ads).

Our filmmakers and FOUND team appreciates those that wish to upgrade to a paid account (monthly or yearly) and watch ad-free. We offer a $3.99/month or $39.99 year option. (*note your country may show a slightly adjusted price depending on currency)

Where is FOUND TV available?

WORLDWIDE! We are so happy to have launched FOUND TV to the world. Check your local app store to download FOUND TV (where available) and enjoy FOUND anywhere online at https://watch.foundtv.com

*note, that some films (a small percentage of our library) may not be viewable in certain countries due to licensing availability.

How do I sign up?

First of all, THANK YOU for registering and supporting FOUND TV and the filmmakers!

You can create an account online at https://watch.foundtv.com/register

Once your account has been created (look to your email for the OTP code to verify your email address), you can start watching for FREE.
You will be able to access our entire library and our 24/7 LIVE channel (with ads playing).

You can also signup for FOUND via most devices or use your FOUND login to add that device to your account and start watching.

For those that wish to upgrade to an AD-FREE paid subscription, head to https://watch.foundtv.com/subscription and select a Monthly or Yearly plan.

You can also subscribe directly from most apps like iOS etc. If you do, any subscription management or cancelation will be within those device stores.

Why do I see ads on FOUND?

We think it's important to offer a FREE tier to our found footage fans. So you can enjoy these movies without needing to subscribe to a paid tier.

With that, we always want to be sure our filmmakers have the ability to create revenue from their creative ideas and hard work, so ad revenues are split with them while allowing our fans a FREE tier option.

How many devices can I watch on at once?

On a Free With Ads account, you can watch on 2 devices at any one time. Our Ad-Free Monthly or Yearly subscription allows 4 simultaneous devices.

Having issues streaming? (Crashes, buffering, freezing)

Like any device app, sometimes we need a good reset! Try a few of these known fixes to see if that irons out your issue:

• Double check your internet connection (any other devices on wi-fi having issues?) Run a speed test (speedtest.net) to make sure there aren't any issues.
• Unplug the device from power for a minute, and power it back up

• Delete and re-download the FOUND TV app

• Make sure your device is up to date, and check the app store for FOUND TV to see if our app is up to date.

If the issue persists, please let us know (give us as many details as you can, like the device you're using, what the issue was and what were you trying to do/watch, where are you in the app when the issue happened).

We will pass that technical issue over to our dev team right away (thank you for letting us know!) >> https://watch.foundtv.com/contact-support

My FireTV won't let me watch any films?

Our developers are working with Amazon on adding the FREE With Ads tier to Fire TV.
At launch, paid subscribers can login and enjoy FOUND on the Fire TV.

Stand by as our dev team works out the logistics of adding the FREE account level.

Do you have closed-captions?

We work with filmmakers to provide closed caption files for our film library. While we are making the best effort with our filmmakers to provide captions for 100% of films, there may be times where that isn't logistically possible on their release date.

You can enable captions via browser viewing by clicking on the CC icon. On different apps, the CC option might differ slightly depending on the device video player settings.

Why are certain titles available on FOUND in some countries but not mine?

Movies are available by territory and how they are available to stream. An example might be that a film is available in only certain countries (and not others), or can be watched free with ads, but not via subscription (ad-free). These rights differ by film and distributor. However we are excited to say that 95% of our found footage films are available worldwide and on both FREE and SUBSCRIPTION options.

Can I request a title for FOUND?

You sure can! We are always on the look out for found footage films (both classics and brand new!)

We will do our best to obtain the proper rights to films that fit the FOUND platform depending on their availability (some films already have exclusive rights to other platforms or countries and may not be available for us to license.... yet).

You can submit your requests here: https://watch.foundtv.com/contact-support

What devices does FOUND support?

You can enjoy FOUND TV online with your browser (https://watch.foundtv.com), as well as Apple TV, iOS (iPhone and iPad), Google Devices (Android, Android TV), ROKU, Fire TV, and shortly we will be available on Samsung Smart TVs and LG Smart TVs.

Search for FOUND TV on any of those app stores.

My company wants to advertise on FOUND TV.
